Established in 1928 concurrently with the clubhouse, the pool at ALCC has consistently served as a cornerstone of the club. Featuring a deep end equipped with a daring diving board and a shallow area for younger swimmers, the pool has provided leisurely days in the sun from Memorial Day to Labor Day annually. Unfortunately, the pool has experienced a notable leak in recent years, prompting its closure until further notice due to safety apprehensions and the escalating expenses associated with repairs. Despite ongoing efforts by the American Legion Home Association to explore fundraising opportunities for the necessary repairs, they have yet to secure the required funds.
